To be perfectly honest the Xbox Dashboard we received in last fall’s update never really gave me that “metro-feeling” I was hoping for. It wasn’t flat enough, and didn’t make the visual queues for switching between different things as easy as it could be. Ladies and gentlemen there’s a new Xbox dashboard coming to town, and this one is what we’ve all been hoping for.

Featuring voice search, live television (more on that as we get it) and Kinect support through out, the new Xbox Dashboard finally looks like it’s related to Zune Software. We’ll have more on this as we begin to analyze all of the information coming in from our sources.

  1. Metro UI all the way

the next 18 months is going to be interesting to say the least. The biggest shake up to computing since the Mac (Windows 8) and now X-Box and Windows Phone 7 sharing the interface, cloud computing, hopefully more integration to Marketplaces….Great time to be in the market for a new phone!
