One of the first achievements I received for an Xbox LIVE on Windows Phone title was from PressPlay’s Max and the Magic Marker. Tentacles also looked to be pretty good as well, but lately we’d be thinking the developer had forgotten about us Windows Phone gamers. Turns out, Windows platforms will be seeing a lot more from PressPlay as Microsoft announced that they’d purchased the studio for an undisclosed amount.
So far there’s no word on what the studio will be working on but what ever it is, their excited with the company saying “In a weird and non-indie way, we believe that we will have more creative freedom with Microsoft Studios than we have ever had before. For the first time ever we can focus ALL energy on our games, and great things are on the horizon.”.
