We already knew that Windows Phone devices that were unlocked using ChervronLab’s ChevronWP7 would be relocking sometime soon, but now we’ve got an official date -August 11th.

All those who purchased a token to install apps locally instead of through the Windows Phone Marketplace, will be eligible for one year subscription to Microsoft’s App Hub, the only repository for Windows Phone apps.
Glad i never bought into this. Money wasted.
