Sure, card games may not that be the “it” genre that makes users pony up $60 year after year, but they are a respectable genre of console gaming nonetheless. From now until September 15th, Xbox LIVE Gold users can pick up the latest installment in the Magic: The Gathering franchise completely free.

Microsoft is offering the game as a part of the Games With Gold promotion it kicked off following it’s unveiling of the Xbox One. With the games, users can play against other card players online or battle the game’s AI in a match of wits, cards and gull.

Those who aren’t one for card games shouldn’t fret.Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas will be free to Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers starting September 16th.

  1. I might have to see if I can grab this. The biggest problem I have is simply storage space. I just have the Arcade 4 gig hard drive in my Xbox, and already have another 4 gig thumb drive plugged in and almost filled up. When I looked at the games they had at the end of August, they were like 2 gigs all by themselves.
