The Xbox One might be waiting in the wings, but it looks like Microsoft is planning a few holiday festivities for the Xbox 360 too.

Announced today, these new holiday bundles include the 250GB Xbox 360 with a Kinect sensor, one month of Xbox LIVE Gold and copies of Kinect Sports: Season Two, Kinect Adventures, and Forza Horizon for $299.99.

Users who don’t need quite so much space can look forward to picking up the 4GB version of the Xbox 360 with Kinect, one month of Xbox LIVE Gold, and copies of Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports Season Two for $299.99.

Finally, for the “hardcore” gamer in us all Microsoft is debuting a bundle that includes the Xbox 360 with a 250GB hard drive, a Kinect sensor one month of Xbox LIVE Gold, and copies of Tomb Raider and Halo 4 for $399.99.

If you’re thinking along the same lines as we are, you’ve probably concluded that these prices are a little steep for a console that’s about to be one-upped. First you are completely right. Second, Microsoft is handling that by teaming up with some gamer retailers to knock of $50 for each variant of the Xbox 360 from October 13 until January 4.

$250 for the Xbox 360 still feels a bit steep to us, but we’re also cheapskates. Any of you still planning to pick up an Xbox 360 when the Xbox One is right around the corner?
