Those excited for Titanfall, the upcoming shooter that puts players in control of powerful futuristic weaponry and giant mechanized robots should pay attention. As of now you can apply for entry into the game’s upcoming beta test.

Respawn Entertainment first opened its beta registration system to users last night. To be clear, the developer and Titanfall’s publisher Electronic Arts won’t require users to make any purchases for consideration in the program. Of course, it’s not letting just anyone into the “limited” beta either. Users who are chosen for participation in the Titanfall Beta should receive an email with further steps no later than February 17th.

Users who make it into the Titanfall Beta will need an Xbox One or a PC powerful enough to play the game. PC users will also need one of EA’s free Origin accounts.
