The November Xbox One Update that adds backgrounds, digital media streaming support, updated Xbox Live profiles and all other sorts of fun trinkets is now available for everyone who owns an Xbox One console.

Microsoft quietly began pushing the November Xbox One Update to all owners of its Xbox One console late last night. This is the same November Xbox One Update than it began sending out to testers last month. In addition to backgrounds and the now showcase on Xbox Live profiles, there is support for tweeting video game clips, an updated Xbox OneGuide that shows off shows that are trending on Twitter and Xbox Live and a redesigned Xbox Store. The November Xbox One Update also quietly adds a new settings command for restarting the console with just a controller.

As it announced the November Xbox One Update, Microsoft was also killing any hope of a December Xbox One Update. According to today’s post on the Major Nelson blog, Microsoft has no intention of releasing an update next month, the Xbox One software we have today is the Xbox One software that’ll great millions of holiday shoppers over the next month.

Microsoft says it plans on sharing more information about what it has planned for the Xbox One software-wise early in the new year.
