Bioware’s Mass Effect series of games managed to do something during the last console generation that was completely unthinkable at the time. The company’s most known for creating must-experience role-playing games, not shooters. The first three titles in the Mass Effect series mixed RPG mechanics, amazing story-telling and shooting combat to great effect. Mass Effect Andromeda will take all of those things, and bring them to an entirely new universe.

On March 21st in the United States, Mass Effect Andromeda will introduce players to a new character that they can customized. Called Ryder, the play-controlled character is part of the Pathfinder Program that sent humans into deep space to build a new home for themselves. Andromeda is the closest galaxy to our own, both in the game and in the real world.

Mass Effect Andromeda will have enhanced graphics thanks to its new engine, plus a huge focus on exploration in the newly launched Tempest.
