Earlier this week a few of us noticed a slight difference in the Zune Video Marketplace, and although we wished it was a redesign, it was in fact a price hike on certain video content.
Your favorite television shows in standard definition will now cost you more, with an individual episode setting you back 190 Microsoft Points instead of the 160 Microsoft Points we’d been enjoying them for since television shows debuted on the platform. We’ve also heard talk of there being higher prices for music videos however we’re unable to confirm that since we rarely purchased any ourselves.
We’ve got an email into Microsoft about the pricing differences and we’ll update you the moment we hear anything.
