Moments ago, Microsoft’s Brandon LeBlanc took to the Windows Experience Blog to give us a small glimpse of the titles we can expect for Xbox on Windows 8, and by detail we mean a massive list of 40 games.
Starting on October 26, Microsoft will be partnering with Rovio, Miniclip, Gameloft, ZeptoLab, Glu Mobile and Halfbrick Studios to deliver titles to the Windows 8 and Windows 8 RT gaming platforms. These titles will have support for Xbox LIVE centric features like multiplayer, leaderboards and more importantly Achievements.
Enough jabber, let’s talk about the games! Here’s what you can expect starting on the day Windows 8 and devices running it, hit stores:

Now that’s a collection. LeBlanc does not that 29 of the titles are from Microsoft Studios, the internal organization who produces all first-party titles for both the Xbox 360 and Windows Phone.
