We’ve heard nothing but good things around the office about three new releases coming to the Xbox 360 this week, and while that’s a far cry, -ahem from the lofty amounts of titles we were treated to this past November, we won’t say no to a new entry to make our fast approaching holiday breaks that much more exciting.
Debuting today, Far Cry 3 takes us to a time when it was ok to use every possible method to beat the hell out of the pirates who’ve taken your friends hostage. We’re a fan of action-adventure games that borrow from other genres heavily. Count us in.
Guardians of Middle-Earth is coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade on December 5th will feature characters and settings from the upcoming Hobbit picture coming to theaters soon. Think competitive online arena gaming and you’ve got the right idea.
Lastly, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the new Power Rangers: Super Samurai title making it’s way to mom’s layaway bins the world over. We can’t imagine it’ll be all that good, but since it will require Microsoft’s Kinect sensor at least we know it won’t be routine. The morphing sequence begins on today, December 4th.
