Viewers in need of some political intrigue to hold them over until House of Cards premieres have a special treat on its way. Netflix, purveyor of all documentaries interesting has announced that it will exclusively air a documentary that examines the behind the scenes action inside Mitt Romney’s campaign for president.
Announced in a press release late this afternoon, Greg Whiteley’s Mitt goes inside the campaign’s entire operation, spanning from Christmas 2006 until Romney’s concession speech in 2012.Netflix is billing the documentary as a something that “takes the viewer well beyond the politics” of a simple election.
Mitt premieres on January 24 at midnight Pacific Standard Time. Whiteley previously directed New York Doll and Resolved. .
