Users who purchasing a specific Xbox One bundle later this month won’t get a customized console or a controller. They will get a free copy of Madden NFL 15 though, saving them at least $60 on the cost of upgrading to Microsoft’s latest and greatest console.
Microsoft revealed the Madden NFL 15 Xbox One bundle earlier this morning in a post on Xbox Wire. Starting August 26th, users will have the opportunity to pick up the Madden NFL 15 Xbox One bundle at Microsoft’s own stores and at other retailers Microsoft hasn’t announced yet. Users who purchase the bundle will get a standard edition Xbox One controller, Xbox One console, chat headset and all the necessary display and power cables to get the box up and running. The copy of the game users get will also be included in the special edition box as a digital code, meaning users will have to download the game directly to their hard drive instead of putting a disc in their console. Microsoft is also throwing in three Ultimate Team Pro Packs for just $399. That’s the same price as a standard edition controller.
Clearly, this deal is meant to tempt avid sports fans into purchasing an Xbox One over a PlayStation 4 or even Microsoft’s own Xbox 360. Separately, Madden NFL 15 will cost users $60 when it debuts on August 26th. Madden publisher Electronic Arts has put a lot into this new game for upgraders to enjoy. Users can look forward to multiple types of tackles and better broadcast presentations during half time.
