Sure, that Music Deals app that Microsoft launched a few weeks ago may have been a strange move from a user standpoint. Tons of people are wondering why this information isn’t included in the Xbox Music app already. You can’t deny that its coming in handy though. This week, Microsoft is slashing the cost of Neil Young’s Storytone album to just $1. There’s also some other deals for 80% off.
Joining Storytone is Anything Goes from Florida Georgia Line, Bringing Back The Sunshine from Black Shelton and 747 from Lady Antebellum. Each of those albums are $1.99. 70s albums from Stevie Wonder, Blondie, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Cher Pink Floyd and more are on sale for just $1.99 too.
Windows Phone and Windows users can download Music Deals apps for those platforms directly from their app store. While you can listen to Xbox Music on the web, you can’t actually make any purchases from there. As such, anyone not running Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows Phone are out of luck.
