There are plenty of places to purchase Microsoft’s Xbox One console this holiday season, but only one retailer is giving Xbox One buyers a free game: the Microsoft Store.
For one day only the Microsoft Store is giving anyone and everyone who purchases an Xbox One console a free game to go along with their console bundle of choice. The sale is part of its 12 Days of Deals promotion.
Valiantly, Microsoft is forcing users to choose older Xbox One titles. Eligible free games include Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Grand Theft Auto V, Sunset Overdrive, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Metro Redux, Titanfall, The Crew, Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Evil Within, Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Watch Dogs, Lego: The Hobbit, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, The Wolf Among Us, WWE 2K15, Project Spark, Terraria, NHL 15 and Monopoly. These are on top of the free games that already come with each of the Assassin’s Creed Unity Xbox One Bundle, Assassin’s Creed Unity Xbox One Bundle with Kinect, and the Refurbished Xbox One with Kinect bundle that includes Dance Central Spotlight and Ryse: Son of Rome.
Xbox One bundles at the Microsoft Store start at $349.
