Microsoft’s Xbox One entertainment console is finally getting a live streaming radio service for those who aren’t fans of its own Xbox Music service. This morning iHeart Communications announced iHeartRadio on Xbox One, a dedicated livestreaming audio app.
As of right now iHeartRadio for Xbox One is available directly though the Xbox Store. The free app lets users stream from any of the company’s iHeart Communications stations for free. The service, which offers apps on the iPhone, Windows Phone, Windows and Android, lets users purchase their favorite songs and create custom radio stations tuned to their tastes too.
iHeartRadio was already available on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console. TuneIn and Spotify remain the only two popular audio streaming apps and services missing from the Xbox ecosystem.
