As if you didn’t have enough reasons to be on Xbox Live thanks to free NBA 2K15 sessions this weekend Microsoft is throwing in another. Until Monday morning Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is free for anyone to rent thanks to Xbox Video Free Movie Weekend.
Until Monday, April 27th, absolutely anyone with access to Xbox Video can rent Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. As the name suggests, the film is all about Superman and Batman becoming enemies of the state as Lex Luther picks up all sorts of new tricks. The film is one of the latest entries in the animated DC Universe. It’s inclusion in the Xbox Video Free Movie Weekend promotion is probably a celebration of the new trailer for Batman vs. Superman, the first film in a series of DC Universe adaptions coming theaters over the next decade or so.
Once you hit the rental button, you’ll get two weeks to start watching the film. You have two days to finish it from the moment you hit play. Microsoft has also slashed the price of purchasing the movie too. It now costs just $8.99.
Anyone with an Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows PC or Windows Phone can take advantage of Xbox Video Free Movie Weekend. Microsoft also has a video player available for browsers that allow the Silverlight plugin to be installed.
