Microsoft is preparing an upgraded Xbox One console with more storage and an improved controller, according to a new posting on retail website Amazon.
The Independent, a British paper and online news outlet, reports that lucky shoppers on Amazon’s retail website spotted a new $399 Xbox One console with 1TB of storage and the improved Xbox One controller that was also leaked recently. The store page in question also has a reference to Microsoft’s Halo: The Master Chief Collection being included. The description invites users to checkout Xbox One holiday exclusively like Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza 6, which are both slated for release this year.
Theoretically, Microsoft should have a lot to say about this new Xbox One bundle at its E3 Media Briefing taking place the same day this console is expected to ship. Today you need an adapter to plug in headsets to the Xbox One controller. Every version of the Xbox One besides the special edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare bundle includes 500GB of storage, half of what’s available in this new version of the console. The Amazon listing was pulled soon after it was discovered.
