Former Halo developer Bungie Studios made waves last week when it finally released a beta for Destiny, the upcoming first-person shooter that borrows more than a few game mechanics from large online role-playing games. Bungie is allowing every Xbox One and Xbox 360 user can download the Destiny Beta without a code.
The Destiny Beta started just this past Tuesday for Xbox One and Xbox 360 users. Xbox 360 users can snatch up the download for the game here. Xbox One users should download this version. Again, all users will need an Xbox Live Gold account to get into the Destiny Beta. That makes sense, after all the Destiny Beta is simply a test of the game’s core multiplayer systems.
The final version of Destiny launches September 9th. It’ll be available on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. That being said, PlayStation users will get access to more content than Xbox users for at least a year.
