If you can’t for the life of you figure out what to watch this weekend, Microsoft’s Xbox Video service is here to help. In the Xbox Video Store right now are entire seasons of shows available on the cheap for streaming.
As of right now Grimm, that show that’s completely about grown men hunting down and “taking care” of magical creatures from the stories you might have read as a child is just $14.99 a season — provided that you’re ok with watching in standard definition you’ll need to fork over a few more dollars for season 2 and season 3.
The Fox comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine is on sale for $19.99 in high definition, while high-definition versions of both seasons of Chicago Fire are $14.99. The only season of Chicago P.D. is on sale for $14.99 too, though if you purchase both shows you may actually be ready to just move to Chicago instead of watch television this weekend. About a Boy, The Parenthood, season 1 and seasons 5-15 of Law and Order SVU are all priced at $14.99 in high definition. High definition seasons of The Mindy Project will set you back $19.99. Finally, entire seasons of Saturday Night Live are available for a more modest $9.99.
Remember, any video content you purchase is available on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows, Windows Phone and the web. The web and Windows Phone versions of Xbox Video don’t support HD content.
