Tonight on Xbox Live: Watch HaloFest from your own living room

Forget purchasing a plane ticket, being forced to pay your airline for a bag that should have been checked and rushing through a TSA checkpoint to make your flight on time. If you’re interesting in watching 343 Industries’ HaloFest activies this evening you can do so absolutely free over Xbox Live.

At 11PM Eastern Standard Time those with an Xbox One or an Xbox 360 and an internet connection will be able to stream footage from HaloFest. Microsoft’s Live Events player apps are what you’ll need to download to stream the live footage. In addition to that, Xbox.com and IGN will play host to video streams of their own. If all of that isn’t enough streaming service Twitch will have a livestream from HaloFest as well.

HaloFest watchers will see the first episode of Halo: Nightfall. That’s the show available to buyers of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. In addition to that, they can also expect 343 Industries to talk more about Halo 5: The Guardians. Tonight will be the first time we see official footage of the game’s multiplayer modes.

Those watching on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One will not need to have an Xbox Live subscription to watch HaloFest.
