Even the most bullish of Xbox One users probably found themselves thinking that Microsoft’s Countdown to 2015 deals were running out of stream. Worry no more, Microsoft’s Xbox Live Deals with Gold promotion for December 23rd includes tons of discounted titles for both the Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Legend of Korra, Destiny, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, FIFA 15 Holiday Edition and Madden 15 Holiday Edition are just some of the games Microsoft is discounting for Xbox Live Gold users. There’s more on top of those too and most of them actually don’t require an Xbox Live Gold account on the Xbox One to claim.
Users of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 are seeing the best deals. FIFA 15, NHL 15, Madden NFL 15 are all half off their normal price — that’s without an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Microsoft is heavily slashing prices on classic games for the Xbox 360 too. There’s LA Noire, Max Payne 3 and Red Dead Redemption all available for 75% off their normal price.
Microsoft has also discounted Dragon Age: Inquisition for the Xbox One to just $38.99. However, unlike the rest of the deals running all week, users will only be able to purchase Inquisition at that price for the remainder of the night.
This being the Deals With Gold there are some savings that only those with an Xbox Live Gold account can pick up. For the Xbox 360 they are Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for $44.99, The Orange Box for $4.99, Tales from the Borderlands for $2.49 and Tales from the Borderlands Season Pass for $12.74. The currency pack and T-15 Bundle for World of Tanks is discounted by half too. Xbox Live deals exclusive to Xbox Live Gold users include Destiny Digital Guardian Edition for $67.49, Tales from the Borderlands Episode 1 for $2.50, Tales from the Borderlands season Pass for $12.75 and The Walking Dead: Season 1 and Season 2 Bundle for $25.
An Xbox Live Gold account costs $10 a month or $60 a year. There’s a complete breakdown of all the cost savings over at MajorNelson.
