Forget the Xbox Live Deals with Gold promotion for the week promotion for December 16th. This week Microsoft is kicking off Countdown to 2015 and combining those with Xbox Live Deals of the Week for a cheap game extravaganza.
Today only, Lego The Hobbit is $20, Middle-earth: Shadow of Modor is $40.19 and the Season Pass for Shadow of Mordor is $16.74. All of three of those games are for Microsoft’s Xbox One console. For the Xbox 360 there’s Lego The Hobbit for $9.89 and Lego: Lord of the Rings for $4.99.

Microsoft is also rolling in some movie and television deals too. You won’t need an Xbox Live subscription for any of those.
