If you’ve ever wondered what Hitman would be like if turned into a mobile board game, you now have your answer. This afternoon video game developer Square Enix announced Hitman Go, a new Windows Phone and Windows 8 game.
Hitman Go arrived in the Windows Phone and Windows Store this afternoon according to video game website Polygon. Hitman Go takes Agent 47, the protagonist in the regular games, and drops him into a simple board game that users can dive in and out of on their own time. Enemies with their own unique advantages and disadvantages populate the game world. Hitman Go arrived for the iPhone and Android last year, but only the Windows and Windows Phone versions allow players to earn Xbox Live Achievements.
Hitman Go is $4.99. Buying the Windows or Windows Phone version unlocks the companion app on the other Microsoft platform.
