It’s no secret – we believe Microsoft’s suite of applications that will ship on each and every computer are a little light in the features department. It seems Microsoft agrees and will be adding new functionality to each one before it heads to the masses.
Between now and Windows 8’s general availability, Microsoft will be add tons of things to their Metro-themed offerings including the ability to purchasing in local currencies, watch videos with closed captioning, and search by actor or director all in Xbox Video. Xbox Music users can expect an updated now playing experience, a return of Smart DJ from the Zune Software and “expanded music services”.
