GameStop says customers can once again pre-order the Standard Edition Xbox One console online and in-store ahead of its launch in late November.
The company formally announced renewed availability of the console in a press release this morning. That same press release makes it abundantly clear that this is the last time GameStop plans on making pre-order units available before the Xbox One launches on November 22nd saying, “last reservations to be taken before new console’s launch.”
There are just 22 days left until Microsoft releases the Xbox One, and we’ve been pushing users who want the console on the first day of its availability to pre-order rather than stand in line hoping to get a console by just sheer luck.
There are a few things users should be aware of. For starters, GameStop requires that users put down a $100 deposit to reserve their console. Users can only reserve one console per household as well.
The Standard Edition Xbox One includes, the Xbox One console itself, a power cable, an HDMI cable, one wireless controller, one Xbox Chat Headset and an upgraded Kinect Sensor.
