Microsoft’s Xbox One console hasn’t been around long enough for us to start seeing huge discounts on titles made for it. At least, that’s what many assumed before Microsoft slashed the prices of Titanfall and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros by half in this week’s Xbox Live Deals With Gold promotion.
Until next Tuesday Xbox One users with an Xbox Live Gold account can pick up Titanfall for Xbox One at around $25, half of its normal $50 price tag. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros is going for just $15 with a Xbox Live Deals With Gold discount. Other heavy Xbox One related discounts include EA Sports UFC, and the Titanfall Expedition map pack. Tracks made by Psy, LMFAO, Swedish House Mafia, Pitbull and Macklemore for Just Dance 2014 are also on sale for 40% off.
Those same tracks are 40% off for Xbox 360 users with an Xbox Live Gold subscription too, and they’re joined by Just Dance 4, whose price has been cut in half. Crystal Defenders, FanFantasy XIII-2, Gyromancer, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Moon Diver, Space Invaders Infinity Gene and Yosumin! Live are 50% off. Risen, Risen 2: Dark Waters and Fight Night Champions are all 75% off their regular price.
This week Microsoft is throwing users without an Xbox Live Gold subscription a bone. Users without a subscription can pick up all the discounted Just Dance 4 and Just Dance 2014 content — under normal circumstances Xbox Live Gold users wouldn’t be able to take advantage of any of these deals. Theaw deals disappear for all Xbox Live users on August 19th.
