You can mark today in your personal diaries as the moment when the 2015 gaming season officially begun. Arriving today on the Xbox One is Madden NFL 16 and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. There’s even some love for Microsoft’s Xbox 360.
Starting today anyone can pick up this year’s must-have football game. Madden NFL 16 features some refreshed throwing mechanics and a risk vs reward system for players bold enough to make daring plays. As of right now, digital copies are available in the Xbox Store for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 for $60. Football aside, there’s no relief for people who aren’t big fans of remastered titles. Dishonored Definitive Edition is $39.99, Mega Man Legacy Collection is $14.99. Also out this week is Gears of War Ultimate Edition, a massive remake of the original Gears of War for Xbox 360 plus re-releases off the Xbox 360 versions of the game that are playable on the Xbox One. Gears of War Ultimate Edition is $39.99.
If you’re buying disc copies of all of this — head to your local store after work. If you’re buying digital go ahead and hit the buy button from work and your Xbox One will have the game loaded by the time you arrive at home. Isn’t the future grand?
