I interrupt your constant stream of trailers from the Electronic Entertainment Expo to bring you this startling news: Gucci Mane and Justin Bieber have a new song together. And it slaps.
Called Love Thru the Computer, the new track heavily samples the original the Computer Love by Zapp from the 1990s. Bieber even drops a couple lines that don’t feel tacked on or artificial. (Imagine how much better hip hop would have been if Diddy would have learned this lesson.) Is it the best song ever made? No, but it’s a solid surprise in this sea of Billie Ellish and Drake dominating Top 10 charts. Not that I’m hating on either artist, I just wouldn’t mind hearing artists other than them.
