Those Windows Phone 8 users looking to get their video chat on finally have an updated version of Skype to use, a preview of Skype for Windows Phone 8 is now available in the Windows Phone Store.

The updated application brings the ability to receive calls and messages while the app is closed as well as support for Windows Phone’s People Hub, and an updatable Live Tile.

Skype allows Windows, Mac, Windows Phone, iOS, and Android users to make both audio and video calls to fellow users as well as audio calls to landline phones for a low price via a monthly subscription or prepaid airtime.
