Upcoming IE9 for Windows Phone Owns iPhone and Android in HTML5 Speed Test

With more people doing the majority of their web browsing on a mobile device and the HTML 5 wars heating up, the fact is mobile browser speed is no longer just a bullet point for mobile  operating systems. If your mobile browsers a joke you aren’t going to be taken seriously in the smartphone race, period. apparently the Windows Phone Team completely understands this. How do we know? IE9 for Windows Phone makes it’s competitors look like garbage.

During today’s MIX keynote Microsoft pulled off the gloves on Chrome and Safari, showcasing just what hardware acceleration and native support for web standards can do for your mobile browsing experience. To say that IE won, wouldn’t do it justice so here’s a lovely video of the show down.
