A little over a week a week ago Microsoft announced that they would be ditching the dedicated Games for Windows Marketplace and merging it with Xbox.com. We hoped the unification would bring ease of use and a all the grandeur that comes with it like “Deal of the Week”. Fortunately it did.
Unfortunately nothing else has seemed to change. You’ll still be prompted to download the Games for Windows Client, and still have a smaller selection of games available to you but hopefully they’ll get there with time. Oh and this week’s Games for Windows Deal of the Week is F.E.A.R. 2 for $9.99. Don’t worry, we’ll be adding that to our weekly news coverage schedule going forward.
