There’s no denying it any longer, tablets seem to be here to stay whether those of us who think the idea of running a smartphone operating system on a 10-inch screen is even worth it or not. So what’s there to worry about? We’re all friends so let’s be frank. We think all current tablets are a joke. There’s no way we’re using a smartphone operating system for anything but small tasks, in fact we’ve never been excited about any of the current crop for that exact reason. That’s why we’re excited to see what happens in Windows 8.  In a featured piece for Ars Technica, Peter Bright seems to be following our line of thinking and does a good job at detailing just how Microsoft can still dominate the tablet market with Windows 8. It’s a little long, but still a must read.
