We’ve known that Microsoft moved a decent amount of Xbox 360s this past November, -the company tipped it’s hand a few weeks ago when it announced it’s Black Friday sales. We now know to the extent to which the folks in Redmond moved product: 1.26 million Xboxes.
That number doesn’t come to us without even more well-deserved chest beating as MajorNelson has also taken to his blog to point out that $1.2 billion was spent on Xbox related items including the console itself, games, and accessories topping both Nintendo and Sony. If the Laws of Mathematics haven’t changed on us that makes this the 23rd straight month of the Xbox being the number 1 gaming console.
