By now you’ve already heard the news, after battling it out an untold amount of people on the internet. FEZ developer Phil Fish has decided to cancel the game’s previously announced follow up, Fez 2, and leave game development entirely. Instead of rehashing that same old song and dance, Polygon has published a piece that takes a look at how most game developers have handled finding fame.
Comments in the piece include comments from Edmund McMillen, Ron Carmel, George Broussard, Zoe Quinn, David Jaffe and Dean Hall.
There’s some insight in the piece that you just don’t get from interacting with developers on social networks or in support tickets.
