Microsoft’s Xbox One may have a relatively high price tag at $499, but that hasn’t stopped the company from selling 2 million of the entertainment console.
Microsoft says that the Xbox One has passed the 2 million in console sales in just 18 days. The company also included a few random facts on how that number translates into other things. According to its post on Xbox Wire, users have already racked up more than 83 million hours playing games, watching television and more. The company also says that its processed over a million Xbox LIVE transactions in that time.
If you’re one of the users tracking the console wars, Sony’s PlayStation 4, which launched a week earlier than the Xbox One and costs $100 less, passed the 2 million sold mark around a week ago.
