We surmised that it wouldn’t be long until Microsoft introduced offline music playback to Xbox Music for Android and we were right. Just a week after Microsoft released offline music playback on the iPhone, an update to Xbox Music on Android now includes the feature and a few new extras.
The isn’t one switch to turn on offline music playback, instead users will need to enable offline playback on individual albums and playlists.
In addition to adding offline playback, the update also gives users a new Play All buttons for each genre and the user’s entire collection.
Of course, like Xbox Music on iOS, Xbox Music on Android requires that users have an Xbox Music Pass.
