By now seasoned Xbox 360 owners are familiar with the drill. Like with the Xbox One, Microsoft gifts Xbox 360 users two free games a month. As of today that game is BattleBlock Theater an Xbox Live Arcade game that would have normally cost them $14.99.
The game became available to all users with an Xbox Live Gold subscription just yesterday. At its core, BattleBlock Theater is a platformer, a platformer that involves players saving their friends from what appears to be androids made to mimic the looks of cats. Xbox 360 users with an Xbox Live Gold account have until August 1st to claim the free game online or on their console. Unlike with the Xbox One, users keep titles downloaded through the Games With Gold promotion, even if they cancel their Xbox Live Gold subscriptions.
