Coming fresh off a holiday weekend, it’s probably very likely that you’ve killed off the last of your unplayed summer games collection. Good news though, If you have an Xbox Live subscription, Microsoft is offering Super Time Force, Monaco and Halo: Reach at absolutely no additional charge.
Microsoft announced its September Games with Gold line-up shortly before the Labor Day holiday. Xbox One users with an Xbox Live Gold account can pick up Super Time Force directly from the Xbox One Store on their console for free. Additionally, Microsoft has left Crimson Dragon available for free to Xbox Live Gold users. Crimson Dragon is more a flying adventure game. Super Time force is a stylized platformer — think Mario — with some time mechanics and interesting characters. Normally, it would cost $14.99.
Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine, the title that Microsoft is giving to Xbox 360 users with an Xbox Live Gold subscription is a top-down puzzle game, really. In it users, have to successfully steal valuables while avoiding tons of safe guards. Xbox 360 users will be able to download Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine until September 16th. At that point, Monaco will go back to its original $14.99 price tag and a copy of Halo: Reach will take its place.
Again, these free downloads are only available to Xbox One and Xbox 360 users with an Xbox Live Gold subscription, which costs $9.99 a month or $60 a year. Users who download Crimson Dragon or Super Time Force will need to continue to pay for Xbox Live to keep access to those games. Games with Gold titles downloaded on the Xbox 360 are available to them forever.
