It’s probably pretty obvious that your franchise is on thin ice when members of the team making it are confirming that it’ll work as expected on launch. That’s exactly the situation video game developer Visceral finds itself in as it prepares to launch Battlefield Hardline.
Visceral’s Ian Milham found himself in the awkward position of confirming that Battlefield Hardline, the next major game in the long running Battlefield franchise will work correctly when it launches, earlier this week.
“What you’re basically asking is, ‘Is your gaming going to work?’ and the answer is yes, it’s gonna work,” Milham told GameRevolution. Of course, Milham is referring to the absolutely disastrous launch of Battlefield 4. The game already has a successful test under its belt, but no matter how much it discusses those beta tests its going to take users a while to get over how badly Battlefield 4’s multiplayer modes were following launch.
Battlefield Hardline is expected to now launch early next year after a sever delay. In the game users will play as cops and robbers essentially. Battlefield Hardline will launch on the Xbox One & Xbox 360.
