With anticipation for Assassin’s Creed Unity already reaching feverish levels, Microsoft is hoping it can harness excitement for the game’s launch in November with two Assassin’s Creed Unity Xbox One bundles aimed at shoppers this holiday season.
Just a day after reports revealed the Assassin’s Creed Unity Xbox One Bundle, Microsoft confirmed that there were in-fact two versions coming to store shelves on its Xbox Wire news blog.
Like the Xbox One bundles that proceeded it, a $399 Assassin’s Creed Unity Xbox One bundle includes a wireless controller, chat headset, HDMI cable and power cable plus. Microsoft is throwing in a free digital copy of Assassin’s Creed Unity that players can download directly from its Xbox Store servers at no additional cost. Microsoft is also including a digital copy of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, last year’s Assassin’s Creed console title.
Joining this $399 Assassins Creed Unity Xbox One bundle will be a $499 Assassin’s Creed Unity Xbox One + Kinect bundle. This version includes everything that the basic version does, plus a Kinect 2 sensor for users to do a bit of motion gaming and control their Xbox One, television and cable box with their voice. This version of the bundle also includes a copy of Dance Central Spotlight. That game costs $10 from the Xbox Store today.
Microsoft says both Assassin’s Creed Unity Xbox One bundles will launch on November 2nd. Assassin’s Creed Unity launches on November 11th at retail stores and the Xbox Store. Assassin’s Creed Unity won’t be coming to the Xbox 360.
