T-Mobile users will be able to stream content from Microsoft’s Xbox Music service without taking a big hit on their data allotment going forward.
T-Mobile announced the update to its Music Freedom and Uncarrier programs earlier today in a press release. Joining Microsoft’s Xbox Music service are Google Play Music All Access, SoundCloud, JazzRadio, Saavn, Radio.com, Rockradio, Live365, Mad Genius Radio, Fresca Radio, Fit Radio, Digitally Imported and Radio Tunes.
Music Freedom allows T-Mobile customers to stream as much music as they want from pre-approved partners. Users still have to pay for the services separately, but they don’t have to worry about running out of data because they streamed Taylor Swift’s 1989 too many times. T-Mobile includes access to Rhapsody’s unlimited music streaming service with its unlimited plan.
Xbox Music costs $9.99 and has apps available on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, iPhone, Android and the web.
