It’s a pretty quiet Thursday evening, but that could all change once you get ahold of the free Minecraft skins that are available tonight on Xbox Live.
Microsoft and Mojang are celebrating Minecraft’s 3rd birthday on Xbox Live with a free skins pack that absolutely anyone can download for the Xbox versions of the game. The skins are based on the original team of developers that created and maintained Minecraft for years. That includes, original developer and Mojang founder Notch Persson. Beyond that, Microsoft and Mojang are giving away the first two Minecraft birthday packs from year’s prior, according to Xbox Wire.
Microsoft purchased Mojang and Minecraft late last year. Microsoft plans to take down the free Minecraft content on May 17th.
