With roughly a month left until the Electronic Entertainment Expo, Microsoft is talking more about how it’ll spend this year’s show and how those at home can follow along during its E3 2015 Media Briefing and show activities.
A large portion of Microsoft’s E3 2015 plans seem relatively unchanged from previous years. The company always holds a huge media briefing that’s broadcast on Xbox Live and Spike TV. This year’s Xbox E3 2015 Briefing begins Monday, June 15th at 9:30 AM Pacific Time. At the same time as it’s broadcasting the event on Spike TV, Xbox 360, Windows Phone and Xbox One owners can watch directly through the Xbox Live Events Player.
Each afternoon during E3 2015 Microsoft will air a daily show featuring Larry Hyrb, Graeme Boyd and more. This show will air at 4PM Pacific Time and will also be available for streaming on Xbox Live. Microsoft is handing out special Xbox FanFest tickets from Sunday June 14th until Thursday June 18th. On Monday Xbox FanFest ticket holders will get into the Xbox E3 2015 Media Briefing. That afternoon Microsoft is throwing a special party to let ticket holders play the latest games. Microsoft is planning industry meet ups, a Twitch party and more for FanFest ticket holders too. Only 500 people will get Xbox FanFest tickets, according to Xbox Wire.
Perhaps the strangest thing included in these details is that Microsoft is already talking about holding some announcements for its Gamescom 2015 briefing, which Sony is skipping.
