Microsoft’s Xbox Live Games with Gold line-up for this coming September is pretty respectable, all things considered. During the month of September Xbox Live Gold users can expect free digital copies of Crysis 3 and Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, among others.
Microsoft announced it’s Xbox Live Games with Gold September titles this morning in a post on the Major Nelson blog. Xbox One owners can expect The Deer God, to arrive free beginning September 1st. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will join The Deer God on September 16th and remain free until October 15th. The Deer God is an independently developed platformer that isn’t available in the Xbox Store today. Offering Tomb Raider Definitive Edition for free is a not so subtle way for Microsoft to stoke the fires of players before Rise of the Tomb Raider arrives exclusively on the Xbox One this November.
Xbox 360 users will get Battlestations Pacific for free until September 16th when Crysis 3 replaces it. Again, all of these titles are absolutely free for users who have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. 360 games included are user’s to keep for ever. Xbox One games included in Xbox Live Games With Gold stop working when the user stops paying for Xbox Live Gold.
