Sure, self-described hardcore video game players will gladly pay a reasonable amount of money for an entertainment console like Microsoft’s Xbox One. Normal people though, that is people who consider video games a secondary hobby, are all about getting the biggest deals they possibly can. To those people, Microsoft is saying “Come on in” with its latest unorthodox move. For Black Friday weekend only Microsoft is instituting a $50 price cut on many of the bundles that it sells.
Microsoft announced the additional savings this morning in a post on its Xbox Wire news website. With the savings, select Xbox One bundles that were normally priced at $349 end up being $299 when Black Friday 2015 shoppers check out. The deal includes the Xbox One Limited Edition Bundle, Xbox One Elite Bundle, Xbox One 1TB Holiday Bundle, Xbox One Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Bundle, Xbox One Fallout 4 Bundle, Xbox One The Lego Movie Videogame Bundle, Xbox One Rise of the Tomb Raider Bundle, Xbox One Special Edition Gears of War Bundle, Xbox One with Kinect Bundle, Xbox One Limited Edition Forza 6 Motorsport Console Bundle and the Xbox One Madden NFL 16 Bundle. All of these bundles, save the Xbox One Elite Bundle come with at least a single free game. The Microsoft Store, web stores and retail stores will all offer the deal in the United States.
Microsoft says the savings will begin on November 26th and last until November 30th. Today the company also kicked off its Xbox Black Friday 2015 sale in the Xbox Store. Before a month of Xbox Live Gold for a $1, there’s deep discounts on some of the Xbox One and Xbox 360’s best-selling titles from years past and present.
