Worried that you weren’t going to be able to purchase an Xbox One this holiday when it went back to its regular price? Microsoft just fixed that problem for you. This morning the company revealed the $299 Xbox One bundle is back and to get it there Microsoft has slashed the cost of all Xbox One bundles by $50.
The announcement came this morning in a post on Xbox Wire. Beginning today and lasting until December 26th, every Xbox One console bundle — Elite, Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider or otherwise — is cheaper. Regularly, the Gears of War Ultimate Edition Xbox One Bundle costs $349 since it comes with 500GB of storage. With this discount in full-effect, it and other 500GB Xbox One bundles are $299 too.
Microsoft is also teasing its Countdown to 2016 deals that kick-off on December 22nd and run until January 7th. Microsoft usually offers up some serious deals on games, television shows and movies during the holiday season.
When the console launched in 2013 it cost $499 with a Kinect sensor. Some bundles include the sensor still. The cheaper bundles don’t. Microsoft has also cut the price of the Kinect sensor for Xbox One by $50.
