So you’re upset that you can subscribe to the services that make the shows that you want to watch specifically? Ok.

Seriously, fifteen years ago we were all complaining that cable forced us into paying for things we’d never watch. Following the logic of those complaints, Disney, NBC Universal, Discovery, and PBS are giving us exactly what we asked for. You can cancel these streaming services anytime you want and subscribe to them again whenever you want. What you’ll spend on these is still a fraction of what you spent before on cable.

We’re about to live the dream, but y’all playing.

The real question is why do we feel the need to have every bit of video content available to us at any given time, despite the fact that we can’t possibly watch it all? But that’s none of my business.
