When Microsoft told us that the Windows 8 Consumer Preview would be making it’s debut in Late February, they weren’t kidding. Late Wednesday Microsoft sent invitations to a Windows 8 Consumer event being held in Barcelona, Spain during Mobile World Congress on February 29th.
We’ve still had no official word on exactly what features will be debuting in the Consumer Preview or what might have to wait for the next milestone in the operating system’s development, but that hasn’t stopped us from excitedly marking the date on our calendars. We’re excited for all sorts of reasons and you should be too.
