Custom workouts come to Xbox in the form of Nike+ Kinect

Just when you thought it was safe to sit in front of your Kinect and not worry about your health, Microsoft is teaming up with Nike to bring Nike+ Kinect Training to Kinect owners and fitness heads.

Only citing a release date of “Holiday 2012” Microsoft announced the Nike+ Kinect Training will be published by Microsoft and developed by Sumo Digital and Microsoft Studios. As read on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Press site, the new title will: “brings world-class Nike training directly into the home to help you meet your fitness goals and reach your personal best”. We’ve got no idea what that means either but we can bet it won’t end well for all that flab we’ve been carrying since last winter.
